STOP PRESS: New primary curriculum launched online
New primary curriculum launched online
The Qualifications & Curriculum Development Agency (QCDA) has launched its new National Curriculum website, which contains the new primary curriculum framework as well as guidance and a range of tools and case studies to support schools in designing a curriculum that meets the needs of all their learners.
The long awaited release of the New primary curriculum has arrived, offering support and guidance for schools and teachers. The new curriculum is accessible to all and can be found at http://curriculum.qcda.gov.uk.
The National Curriculum website is the key place to find out more about the new curriculum and will be complemented with printed copies of the new primary handbook and guidance materials which are going into schools during February.
QCDA has used extensive feedback from teachers and others to develop the site and improve the overall user experience. More information, including professional development material, will be added to the website throughout 2010.
