About West Midlands Region
Your Regional Enterprise Coordinator for the West Midlands is...Simon Kibble
Simon's career took some interesting turns before he went back to Warwick University to get his PGCE in 1995. He spent time working as a scientist with MAFF before training as an accountant with Coopers and Lybrand.
He has taught in Solihull, Birmingham and Staffordshire, his last post before joining SSAT full time was Assistant Head and Director of Specialism at a Business and Enterprise College in Rugeley. He also spent some time on secondment to SSAT as West Midlands Lead Practitioner for S'EEN.
Simon is really excited to be part of the Enterprise Network and is also looking forward to renewing his contact with the Centre for Education and Industry at Warwick. He believes that the Enterprise Education agenda can really empower learners and teachers to express their natural creativity. "During my secondment it was fantastic to see so many innovative things happening across the region, I can't wait to see how much more there is out there as we extend the network into Primary and FE."
